“Android is the operating system that powers over 1 billion
smartphones and tablets. Since these devices make our lives so sweet, each
Android version is named after a dessert: Cupcake, Donut, Eclair, Froyo,
Gingerbread, Honeycomb, Ice Cream Sandwich, and Jelly Bean. As everyone finds
chocolate so tempting, we decided to name the next version of Android after one
of our favorite chocolate treats, the KitKat®!”
This is what Google says about the new release. So we are not
astonished of the new version or the name of the new OS version. We are sure
this is going to be tastier than any other versions. To make this release even
sweeter, KitKat is giving us the chance to win a Nexus 7.
What is Nexus 7?
The Nexus 7 is the new tablet from Google. They claim that it
is the thinner, lighter, and faster tab with 2.3 million pixels. It brings you
the perfect mix of power and portability and features the world’s sharpest
7" tablet screen.
Fun and unexpected
move
John Lagerling, director of Android Told that they
are not giving hands with Nestle for making money but just to do something “fun
and unexpected”. To promote the alliance Google fashioned
a statue of the Android mascot made out of KitKats in Mountain View,
California, campus.
"I think it's going to a big surprise for a lot of
people, including Googlers." John Said
So let us wait for the sugary “K” Release. The new release
will have something new whether it's getting directions, sharing photos with
friends, or even carving virtual fruit. Are you ready to get amazed?
